Twilight at Tettegouche State park

I arrived at Tettegouche State Park around 4:30am to take photos of the Milky Way and decided to crack into my 2nd thermos of coffee to see how the sunrise would turn out. Since it was a great night for astro photography, that also meant that I had little to no cloud cover and the sunset was the mellow side of the spectrum. I was excited to see these floating ice chunks and initially thought I would do a long exposure to create an ethereal morning scene. That idea didn’t pan out as I thought it would and so I went to a more simple composition.
