Capture Minnesota: My photos that were published In the Capture Minnesota Book.

A few months back, I wrote about the Capture Minnesota photography project that I was active with and even had a couple photos featured on their webpage. The project concluded on February 1st of this year and the project had received 95,934 photo submissions from photographers all around Minnesota.  Seems like an incredible amount of photos and I can’t imagine being an editor sorting through all those entries to pick the best 200 of the group.   A little over a month ago, I received an email letting me know that I had at least one photo that would be included in the final book.   I was excited about the news and figured it would be one of the photos from my 2011 BWCA trip.  I received the book in the mail today and found that I have three photos featured four times throughout the book.  To my amazement, the photos selected were some of my older shots that I had submitted just for the hell of it…..glad I did  I have already paged through the book at least ten times in the past four hours and I absolutely love it.  If you love high quality photography books for your coffee table, I highly recommend checking this book out (Link to online store)
